Malaysia China Cultural Tourism Association (MCCTA) and the School of Hospitality and Tourism of HELP University (HELP) organized “Tea Trails Along the Silk Road: Exploring Malaysian Chinese Heritage” China-Malaysia Youth Cultural Exchange and Study. This is a student mobility project with the School of Culture and Tourism of Zhejiang International Studies University (ZISU) supported by Tourism Pahang Malaysia during the period from May to July 2024.

School of Hospitality and Tourism in HELP University offers 2 undergraduate programs: Bachelor of Business (Hospitality Management) (Hons) and Bachelor of Tourism Management (Hons). We train students and prepare students for hospitality leadership position. We prepare students with a comprehensive and coherent body of knowledge and skills in the hospitality and tourism disciplines embedding research, innovation and creativity in its specialized areas. Over the years, we have produced versatile and competent graduates who are able to meet the challenges of work in the service industries anywhere in the world. We are inspired to provide a new direction to energize and motivate her students to challenge their capabilities and fire their creativity in the hospitality, tourism and service industries.

Malaysia is a land renowned for its stunning rainforests and vibrant cities, also boasts a unique cultural identity. This identity is beautifully woven together by its beautiful blend of cultures. This vibrant mix shapes everything from the languages spoken to the delicious fusion cuisine, creating a truly unique Malaysian identity. In this project partnership therefore, the series of activities include online lectures and physical sharing with industry panels on Malaysian hospitality in a Multi-Ethnic Society; tea traditions; and tea journey through Malaysia and delicious culinary adventure of Malaysian diverse cuisine. In addition, students of ZISU and HELP join filed work project and research study aiming for the ultimate goal, that is to join publication and book exhibition in Hangzhou, China.
