On a vibrant morning at HELP University’s Subang Bestari campus, educators, policymakers, and innovators from across the globe gathered for the highly anticipated World School Summit Malaysia 2025. The summit, themed “The Impact of Globalisation on Education Systems,” was a monumental gathering that set the stage for transformative conversations on the future of education.

HELP University’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Liew Teik Kooi (Andy), inaugurated the event with an inspiring address that set the tone for the day. He welcomed esteemed guests from across the world, including Mr. Vijender Singh, Chief Guest and Olympic Medallist from India, and prominent figures such as Dr. Goh Chee Leong, Group Co-CEO of HELP Education Group, Malaysia, Ms. Kalpana D Kumar, Founder and Director of Kare, Kenya, and Ms. Maria Angelica, CEO of Grupo Cudec, Mexico. The summit showcased a remarkable gathering of thought leaders committed to reimagining education in a globalised world.

Professor Andy highlighted HELP University’s mission to help individuals succeed and lead significant lives through education. He emphasised the institution’s five core values: Pride of Achievement, Sharing Success, The Courage to Be, To Be Compassionate, and To Be Significant are not just as guiding principles but as a way of life for students and educators alike. These values are deeply embedded in HELP’s four brand pillars: a commitment to academic excellence, preparing students for life and career success, cultivating a vibrant student experience, and prioritising wellness and community. Throughout the summit, these principles came to life, inspiring conversations on how education must evolve to be more inclusive, adaptive, and forward-thinking.

The event’s central theme addressed the opportunities and challenges of globalisation in education. Discussions focused on maintaining cultural integrity, leveraging technology to bridge gaps, and fostering collaboration to overcome barriers. Experts explored strategies to leverage technology and digital tools to make education more accessible, particularly in underserved regions. Speakers also examined the growing role of AI in reshaping education, highlighting both the opportunities for personalized learning and the challenges of ethical implementation, digital literacy, and workforce readiness. With keynote speeches, panel discussions, and collaborative sessions, the summit became a catalyst for actionable solutions and meaningful partnerships, laying the groundwork for education systems that are resilient, inclusive, and prepared for the complexities of the 21st century.

Among the distinguished speakers, Mr. Vijender Singh captivated the audience with his inspiring journey of perseverance and dedication, while Dr. Shruthi Gowda, Mrs. India Karnataka, India 2017 and Managing Director of Royale Concorde International School, India, demonstrated how advocacy for education can shine through diverse platforms. Their stories, alongside those of many other speakers, exemplified the courage and passion needed to challenge norms and drive change.

Reflecting on the success of the summit, Professor Andy shared a heartfelt message:

“On behalf of HELP University, I extend my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you for making the World School Summit (WSS) Malaysia 2025 a truly remarkable and transformative gathering for global education.
