The hospitality industry encompasses a diversity of fields within the service industry, including hotels, resorts, restaurants, event planning, theme parks and others from the tourism industry. 

As the hotel and hospitality industry moves increasingly from a skill-based to a knowledge-based industry, higher learning has become increasingly critical to opening career doors and helping managers to be more fully attuned to the culture, services and competitive aspects of the sector. This major delves into international hotel operations management, technological applications in hospitality management and large scale services management, as well as small business operations.

  • Entry Requirements

    • A pass in STPM with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in any two (2) subjects, or its equivalent
    • A pass in STAM with a minimum grade of Jayyid or its equivalent
    • Matriculation/Foundation with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 or its equivalent
    • A Diploma (Level 4, MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 or its equivalent
    • Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government (e.g A-Levels, Senior Middle 3 (UEC), Canadian Pre-University (CPU), Australian Matriculation Programme (AUSMAT)
