Position: Manager of Corporate Finance and Strategy 

Reporting To: Executive Vice President for Corporate Planning 

Job Description

  1. Develop and execute corporate proposals for capital funding, acquisitions, joint ventures, and divestments, including financial analysis and adjustments to financial strategies, valuation, due diligence and restructuring transactions. 
  1. Engage with potential investors and bankers, investees, professional services firms, regulatory authorities, and other internal stakeholders (senior leaders and cross functional teams) to ensure robust planning and execution of corporate exercises.  
  1. Formulate and implement business strategies to drive growth, including project management, market research and analysis / feasibility studies, business model, operational and risk assessments, and financial reporting to support strategic decision making.  
  1. Manage the Group’s strategic planning initiatives and processes, including the medium-term corporate plan, development of the Group ESG / Sustainability framework, and other strategic projects. 

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. 
  2. Candidates with relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred.
  3. At least 5-7 years of relevant working experience, with a background in legal matters, corporate governance, risk management and internal audit. Involvement in corporate transactions would be an added advantage. 
  4. Strong knowledge of corporate governance and regulatory requirements, including by the Securities Commission, Bursa Malaysia, SSM, and others. 
  5. Excellent organization and project management skills, solution-oriented, independent, and attentive to details. 
  6. Strong writing, communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
