The Education Advisor plays a key role in guiding prospective students and their families through the
enrolment process, providing accurate information on academic programs, scholarships, and career
pathways. This role involves student recruitment, advising, and administrative support to ensure a smooth
and positive experience for applications. The Education Advisor also work closely with school, stakeholders,
and internal teams to achieve enrolment targets and leads generation.
Key Responsibilities
- Student Counselling & Enrolment
a. Provide one-on-one consultations to prospective students and parents, offering guidance on
suitable programs, scholarships, and career opportunities.
b. Assist students in the application and admission process, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free
experience.
c. Follow up with potential students through phone calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings to
support their decision-making process.
d. Conduct campus tours, showcasing facilities and highlighting key program offerings.
e. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student inquiries, applications and enrolment
progress in the CRM system. - Student Recruitment & Marketing
a. Participate in education fairs, exhibitions, and open days to promote the institution and
attract potential students.
b. Build and maintain relationships with schools, career counsellors, and industry partners to
enhance student referrals.
c. Assist in organizing workshops, talks, and information sessions for prospective students. - Customer Service & Relationship Management
a. Maintain a high standard of customer service, ensuring prompt responses to inquiries and
concerns.
b. Develop strong relationships with students, parents, and guardians to provide ongoing
support and follow-ups.
c. Work closely with the admission team to process applications efficiently and provide
accurate documentation.
Requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND JOB COMPETENCIES - Minimum Academic Qualification
- Candidates must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline.
Experience
- Candidates with 3-5 years of working experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the
education industry.
Core Competencies
- Good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Melayu. Proficiency in Mandarin
and other dialects will be an added advantage. - Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and able to work under pressure.
- Proficiency with Microsoft, CRM or related software.
