Building a Safer Digital Future for Businesses and Communities Across the Region
Davao, 13 November 2024 – HELP University, Group-IB, the BIMP-EAGA Business Council (BEBC), and the BIMP-EAGA ICT CEO Forum (BEICF) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at advancing cybersecurity education and solutions across the Brunei Darussalam-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines East ASEAN Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA). This strategic partnership seeks to enhance cybersecurity knowledge, capabilities, and solutions for organisations and IT professionals in the region. Under the guidance of BEBC and the BEICF, this collaboration brings together HELP University’s educational expertise with Group-IB’s cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions and services to address the increasing need for robust cybersecurity measures in today’s digital age.
As part of the MOU, HELP University will collaborate with BEBC and the BEICF to deliver specialised technical training programmes in cybersecurity across BIMP-EAGA. These programmes, utilising insights and practical knowledge from Group-IB’s global experts, will provide IT professionals with advanced skills in digital forensics, incident response, and other areas. Upon completion, participants will receive a joint certificate from HELP University and Group-IB, recognising their enhanced capabilities in cybersecurity.

This industry collaboration ensures that businesses across the region can access top-tier cybersecurity intelligence to safeguard their digital assets.
