HELP University celebrated a series of significant events at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College Bidar (GNDECB), cementing the collaborative efforts between the two institutions. The day’s activities highlighted the strengthening partnership, focusing on academic and technological advancements.

The International Conference on Recent Trends in AI, IoT, Machine Learning, Image Processing, and Its Applications (ICAIMI 2024) was the centrepiece of the day. Prof. Dr. R. Logeswaran, Dean of the Faculty of Computing and Digital Technology at HELP University, graced the event as the Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker. Prof. Loges’s involvement began with the inaugural ceremony, featuring the traditional lighting of the lamp and the official release of the conference proceedings. His pre-keynote address set the stage for a highly anticipated keynote on “Applications of Data Science & Big Data.” The presentation was exceptionally well-received, drawing enthusiastic feedback from dignitaries, presenters, staff, and students.

A pivotal moment of the day was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between HELP University and GNDECB. The ceremony included a video presentation showcasing HELP University’s campuses and a warmly received message from Prof. Dr. Andy Liew Teik Kooi, Vice Chancellor of HELP University. The MoU signing, witnessed by Prof. Loges, signifies a commitment to active collaboration and shared initiatives between the institutions.

In a further demonstration of the growing relationship, Dr Reshma Kaur Ji, Vice Chairperson of G.N.D. Group of Institutions, announced the appointment of Prof. Loges as a Visiting Professor at GNDECB. This appointment, effective from May 25, 2024, to May 25, 2026, underscores the mutual respect and commitment to academic excellence shared by both institutions.

Adding to the day’s achievements, Prof. Loges also served as a judge for the Tech-Innovations Showcase, highlighting his expertise and contributing to the promotion of innovation and creativity among students.
