
HELP University Sdn Bhd and MONIN Asia KL Sdn Bhd have formalised a strategic partnership with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), aimed at enhancing educational experiences for students and strengthening industry collaboration. This partnership seeks to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world industry expertise, providing students with practical, hands-on experiences to prepare them for successful careers in hospitality and beverage industries.
The signing ceremony, held at HELP University’s Kuala Lumpur campus on 28 February 2025, was attended by key representatives from both organisations, including Daphne Wong, MONIN Country Manager for Malaysia, and Prof. Dr. Liew Teik Kooi, Vice Chancellor of HELP University. Other notable figures included Mr. Buventiran Thiruselvan, Marketing Executive at MONIN Asia, who played a key role in initiating this collaboration.

As part of this partnership, MONIN will support in sponsoring the gourmet syrups for activities, supporting various events, workshops, and training programs at HELP University, giving students direct access to industry experts and MONIN’s innovative products. The collaboration will also facilitate visits to MONIN’s innovation studios, where students can explore over 150 different flavours and gain hands-on experience in crafting signature beverages.

Beyond this, the partnership will focus on fostering professional development through classroom practical activities and incorporating blended learning methods sessions. These initiatives will help students understand the latest trends and challenges in the hospitality and beverage sectors, making them more competitive and employable. Workshops and seminars will further provide opportunities for students to interact with industry professionals, enhancing their learning and expanding their professional networks.
