Voon Shyne-Ni
Shyne-Ni is a dedicated graduate tutor serving in the Department of Psychology in HELP University. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with first-class honours from HELP University. Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Counselling, Shyne-Ni is deeply engaged in expanding her knowledge and skills in mental health and therapeutic interventions. Her academic pursuits are fuelled by a profound desire to make a positive impact, particularly in the lives of women and children.
Her research interests lie in improving mental health literacy in children and adolescents, recognizing the importance of early intervention and education in promoting well-being from a young age. Additionally, she is also interested in body image-related research among women, aiming to shed light on the complexities of self-perception and societal influences on female body image. With her strong academic foundation and ongoing graduate studies, Shyne-Ni brings both theoretical knowledge and practical insights to her role as a graduate tutor. She is committed to supporting students in their academic endeavours, providing guidance, mentorship, and encouragement to help them succeed in their studies and personal development.
