Valliappan Kasi

Mr.Valliappan Kasi is a senior lecturer in banking and finance. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Portsmouth and Master degree in Banking and Finance from University of Wales (Bangor) from the U.K.  

He specialises in the teaching of Finance, Risk Management and International Economics subjects. Prior to joining HELP University, he lectured in Economics and Finance at University Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) since 2003. Mr.Valliappan Kasi has wide experience in the teaching of Banking and Finance at both the under-graduate and post-graduate level, as he has been involved in the academic field for about 25 years. He has undertaken wide research in the area of securitization and financial intermediation. Prior to his lecturing career, he served as a senior officer at a local bank. His experience in banking is mainly in banking operations and credit analysis. He has also held administration positions in various educational institutions as head of department and principle of college.
