Soo Hoo Pei Ying

Ms. Soo Hoo is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Psychology, with extensive experience as a certified and licensed counsellor. Currently, she is pursuing a doctorate with a focus on counselling issues. Ms. Soo Hoo teaches courses in counselling, career-related and physiological psychology and has supervised numerous undergraduate thesis students, co-authoring publications with them. 

Beyond her academic responsibilities, Ms. Soo Hoo actively delivers mental health workshops and presentations to local high schools and private organizations. She also organizes mental health-related events in collaboration with non-profit organizations, government agencies, and educational institutions. Additionally, Ms. Soo Hoo serves as a volunteer counselor for a non-profit organization, providing essential services to the community.
