Ponni Alagappan

Ponni Alagappan holds a B Sc (Hons) in Biochemistry from University of Delhi and a M Sc in Biotechnology from Bharathidasan University. She initially worked as a microbiologist in Agni Energie Sdn Bhd before transitioning into academia. Her expertise extends to designing a bioreactor for hydrogen sulfide gas removal and conducting research on lab-scale anaerobic digesters for methane production from swine waste. She’s been with HELP University since 2009, where she taught Biology, Chemistry, and Biochemistry at the undergraduate level. Currently, she is teaching Biology and Chemistry in HELP Matriculation Centre.
