Muhamad Syahir Bin Muhamad Stamam has accumulated over 15 years of teaching experience in hospitality and business-related subjects, holding positions at prestigious institutions including Olympia College, UNITAR International University, SEGi University, and presently at HELP University as a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader in the Faculty of Business, Economics, and Accounting.
He has fortified his expertise with a Master’s degree in Hospitality Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), Malaysia. Syahir’s proficiency extends beyond traditional academia; he possesses a specialised certificate in The Fundamentals of Hotel Distribution from ESSEC Business School and has been recognized by the Microsoft Teacher Academy for his prowess in Office 365. Additionally, he fulfills significant academic responsibilities as a Subject Convenor for franchise programs at institutions in Nepal and Vietnam, alongside his role as an Internship Coordinator, facilitating practical industry experience for students.
Syahir’s commitment to academia is underscored by his invitation to serve as an industry lecturer at Politeknik Sultan Idris Shah, Selangor.
He actively contributes to research conferences and publications, with his work featured in esteemed journals such as Current Issues in Hospitality and International Journal of Academic Research in Business and Social Sciences (IJARBS). Currently pursuing a Doctorate degree in business administration, Syahir remains dedicated to advancing knowledge and shaping future professionals in the industry.
