Muhamad Abral bin Abu Bakar
Mr Muhamad Abral is a Lecturer at Department of Law, Faculty of Law & Government, HELP University. With 10 years of experience in tertiary education, Mr Muhamad Abral plays a significant role in pursuing excellence in legal education. His experience in teaching various law and law-related subjects at higher institution has translated into significant contributions to the development of knowledge in the field of law. At HELP University, Mr Muhamad Abral teach the subjects of Law of Tort, Law of Equity and Trust, Legal Method and System, Malaysian Legal System and Law of Contract. Alongside teaching and tutelage, Mr Muhamad Abral is active in conducting research and has produced many academic publications. He had also presented his research and spoken at many conferences held at national and international level. His research interest covers the area of civil law, Islamic law, child law, criminal law, law & society, jurisprudence, equity & trust, and legal practice.
Before joining HELP University as an academic, Mr Muhamad Abral had vast experience in applied law. He became Senior Executive Officer (SEO) in the banking industry and had served in legal firms. His area of practice covers matters involving negligence, commercial crimes, legal compliance, banking operations control & inspectorate, civil law and fraud cases.
Mr Muhamad Abral has graduated with Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from University of London, United Kingdom in 2013. He obtained his Master of Laws (LLM) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) as Sarjana Cemerlang in 2017, and currently pursuing his candidacy for Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Law.
