Macrina Francesca Stephen Yap

Macrina Francesca Stephen Yap is Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Accounting, HELP University. Her experiences in educational institutions for more than two decades are largely focused on teaching English as a second language. With her previous training and teaching experiences in the South Australian Matriculation programme, she is skilled in the areas of academic and research writing, assessment, critical thinking skills and public speaking. Her current experiences in the Diploma in Business programme have further strengthened her skills in syllabus design and materials development. She is well-versed in scaffolding the learning process for student groups with a diverse range of proficiency levels. Macrina participates in teacher conferences for self-development and enjoyment, and conducts workshops to help students develop their skills in writing and communication. She believes in the combination of skills and integrity in dealing with business affairs and life. Specializing in education, Macrina completed her master’s degree at University of Malaya.
