Kathleen Nunis
Kathleen Nunis is a Senior Lecturer and the current Head, Department of Law under the Faculty of Law & Government, HELP University. She has 17 years of experience in education where she has taught at the pre-university level with the HELP University HMC Foundation programme, at the undergraduate level at the Department of Law with the UK Degree Transfer Programme and the HELP Bachelor of Laws as well as at the post-graduate level at the Department of Law with the professional qualification of the Certificate in Legal Practice. She has served as the Department of Law’s Quality Assurance Officer and the lecturer advisor for the Law Society for many years.
Before entering the world of academia, Kathleen was in legal practice for 7 years where she was a litigation lawyer, and she also has experience working in-house. Kathleen is passionate about the law and education and her interests lie in human rights, women and children’s rights and the environment. Kathleen’s undergraduate degree was attained in the University of London’s external law programme, she then attained her Certificate in Legal Practice. Kathleen then obtained her Masters in Law from University Malaya.
