Graduate Tutor
Joseph Ngu
Joseph Ngu currently serves as a graduate tutor at the Department of Psychology in HELP University. He conducts tutorials on subjects such as quantitative research methods and introductory classes on psychology, as well as assists lecturers in administrative duties. Having been a recent HELP Graduate, he uses his familiarity with the department’s processes and student experience to serve both lecturers and students better. He also partakes in research assistant work for various research projects such as using nudge theory to reduce the spread of misinformation and an internal panel study.
Joseph has a keen interest in both psychological research and practice. He graduated from HELP University in 2024 with a first-class honours Bachelor’s Degree of Psychology, and is currently pursuing his Master’s in Counselling. After his masters, he also plans on pursuing a PhD in social and cognitive psychology as part of his life goal of being a researcher practitioner.
