John Rajkumar @ David

John is a senior lecturer in the department of Business Studies in the Faculty of Business, Economics and Accounting.   He has been in education for 15 years and has played various roles such as Head of Department of IT and the head of Professional Development and Training.  Prior to joining the education industry, John worked in the software industry for over 20 years. He worked in the United States for 7 years in roles such as Project Manager for the US Supreme Court Payroll and Personnel System, and as an IT defense contractor for the US Navy, US Army, and US Coast Guard.  In Malaysia, he worked for multi-national companies developing Enterprise Resource Planning software through online channels. Currently, John’s interests are in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics.  John has a degree in Computer Science from Clemson University, USA and a Master’s degree from the University of Maryland University College, USA.
