Dr Angeline Yap

Dr. Yap Kiew Heong, Angeline is currently attached to HELP University. She has been previously associated with TAR UMT and UTAR since 1997. Dr Angeline Yap obtained her Ph.D in Accounting and MBA (Accountancy) from the University of Malaya. She also received research grants from the University of Malaya, and the Fundamental Research Grant Scheme from the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia. She has presented research papers at national and international conferences and published research papers in the areas of cryptocurrency, corporate governance, and accounting with peer-reviewed journals. She completed the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) in 1993, and she has been a Certified Accountant by the Malaysia Institute of Accountants (MIA) since 1993. Previously, she has been attached to a few corporations including publicly listed companies as assistant finance manager and accountant respectively.
