Senior Lecturer

James Yeow teaches introduction to music therapy and psychology related subjects. Among the conferences he presented at were the International Conference on Thinking, International Congress of Psychology, and Conference of the European Health Psychology Society. He has conducted more than 300 workshops for undergraduates, high school students, teachers, and working adults including members of Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, Shell, Chi Sigma Iota, and Junior Chamber International. Mr. Yeow holds a Master of Science in Guidance & Counselling with a 4.0 CGPA. Besides being a three-time dean’s list scholar, he was awarded the magna cum laude medallion for academic achievement and was inducted into the Psi Chi International Honor Society in Psychology while majoring in music therapy with a psychology minor at Western Illinois University in the early 1990s.  He is a member of Golden Key International, the Asian Psychological Association, and the Malaysian Society for Music in Medicine.  He has two diplomas, one in music and the other in sport psychology.
