Ms Elis Johannes is an educator with a wealth of experience in the field of early childhood education. Her journey has been marked by dedication, innovation, and a commitment to shaping young minds. Ms Elis earned her master’s degree from the National University of Malaysia (UKM). Currently, she is pursuing her doctoral studies at the Education University of Sultan Idris, Malaysia. With 17 years of experience in the early childhood education industry, Ms Elis has played various roles such as a preschool teacher, principal and manager of an education centre. As a teacher, she has nurtured young learners, fostering their curiosity and love for learning. For the last 14 years, Ms Elis has dedicated herself to lecturing for both conventional and online Early Childhood Education programmes. Her research interests focus on parental involvement in education, science for young children, observation and assessment of young children, teacher training, and nature education. She is involved as the internal assessor for APEL Q programme (Diploma in Early Childhood Education) at HELP University.
