Dr Yishan Wong

Lecturer

Dr Yishan Wong is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Psychology at HELP University. Her research interests span forensic psychology, developmental psychology, and individual differences. Her doctoral research, completed at the University of Reading Malaysia, examined the combined influence of situational and dispositional factors on eyewitness memory and suggestibility in investigative interviewing contexts. She holds an MSc in Psychological Medicine from the University Putra Malaysia and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus. 

Dr Yishan has been actively involved in both international and local collaborative research across forensic, social, and cross-cultural psychology. She previously served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, delivering practical classes in statistics and research methods. With an applied background, she is particularly interested in translating psychological research into real-world practice.
