Dr Victor Goh Weng Yew
Dr Victor Goh Weng Yew is currently a Senior Lecturer and the Head of the Department of Psychology of HELP University, which boasts one of the largest psychology departments in South East Asia. He graduated with a Bachelor of Psychology from HELP University in 2013, and a PhD in Applied Psychology from the University of Nottingham in 2019. Dr Victor is an experienced lecturer and researcher, with publications in multiple peer-reviewed international and local academic journals. His research focuses on a diverse range of topics, including higher education, workplace psychology, and behavioural change and management.
As an industrial/organizational psychologist, Dr Victor is also a member of the European Academy of Occupational and Health Psychology (EAOHP), and a lifetime faculty member of the Psi Chi Honors Society. Dr Victor’s professional experience includes leading the Psychology departments in multiple local private universities, and serving as an external examiner and advisor for various Malaysian and international institutions. Additionally, as a HRDC-certified trainer, Dr Victor also serves as an organizational and management consultant and trainer, having consulted for various organizations in the retail, manufacturing, education, and finance sectors.
