Dr Rachel Wong

Dr. Rachel Wong joined HELP University Malaysia as a Senior Lecturer in Psychology since 2023, having taught at other international institutions as she pursued her PhD in Applied Psychology at Nottingham University Malaysia. Prior to that, she obtained her Bachelors in Psychological Science and Business from Monash University Malaysia, and later her Master of Sciences in Business Psychology from Heriot-Watt University Malaysia. Aside from her teaching responsibilities, she has cultivated a passion for research, with publications having so far covered the areas of online and offline consumer behaviour, pet ownership, and psychological well-being during COVID-19. Her general research interest looks at social psychological phenomenon and behaviour modification strategies, with a seasonal interests on psychometric evaluation, mental health, and academic incivility.
