Dr Norzayana binti Yusof

Lecturer

Dr. Norzayana Yusof is Lecturer at Department of Business Studies, HELP University. Graduated with Bachelor of Commerce and Administration (Accounting) from Victoria University of Wellington, Zayana started her career in accounting. She then took a leap to pursue her research endeavour through Master of Business Administration (MBA) and PhD (Business Management) at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). Her passion for research resonates through the Research Excellence Award received in the UiTM 93rd Convocation ceremony.   

Zayana specialises in qualitative methodology. She delivered consultancy work to the World Bank Group as qualitative data analyst on two projects: Rohingya employability and informal economy in Malaysia. She is also the Principal Investigator for a qualitative case study on healthy food purchases among B40 in Petaling Jaya, supported by the Internal Research Grant Scheme, HELP University.

Zayana is the current Programme Leader for Bachelor of International Business. She teaches undergraduate management courses including cross-cultural management and international business. In the past, she taught qualitative research methods at postgraduate levels. She also co-supervised a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) student until completion.

Zayana always set her heart in serving the community. This is manifested in her 15-year ongoing commitment with Pertubuhan IKRAM Malaysia through numerous social work programmes in Petaling Jaya.
