Dr. Ngerng Miang Hong

Dr. Ngerng earned his Ph.D. in Economics from Western University, Canada, and an M.Math in Statistics from the University of Waterloo, Canada. He also holds a Diploma in Marketing from CIM, UK, where he was elected as a graduate member in 1989. From 1988 to 1994, he was honored as a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society, UK. Dr. Ngerng’s research interests focus on online trading portfolios, real options analysis, and the application of AHP and PLS in market research.

With over 20 years of teaching experience at prestigious institutions, Dr. Ngerng has held significant academic roles, including Deputy Dean and Head of Programme at various universities in the region.

He is currently the Program Leader for the Master in Investment and Wealth Management, leveraging his extensive experience in strategic and corporate planning, particularly from his tenure at DaimlerChrysler in Beijing, where he led market and financial feasibility studies for automotive products in China.
