Dr Nalini Devi Ramasivam
Dr. Nalini Devi began her career as an English teacher in government schools, where she dedicated nearly two decades to teaching at both primary and secondary levels. During this time, she organized numerous workshops within schools and led the English panel for 18 years. She also served as an adjudicator for English language debates in secondary government schools.
In 2012, she joined HELP University initially in the Business Department, later transitioning to the Department of English. Her research interests focus on teaching methodologies, resulting in several published articles. Currently, Dr. Nalini Devi holds the position of lecturer and program leader for MEd TESL programs. In addition, she lectures undergraduate BEd TESL students, supervises their teaching practicums in schools, and guides their action research projects within school settings. Dr. Nalini Devi also lectures in MEd TESL programs and serves as a supervisor for MEd TESL and PhD TESL research students. She is also involved in teaching the Intensive English Programme and trains students for MUET exams.
