Dr Chong Kim Mee

Dr Chong Kim Mee is a Senior Lecturer at Taylor’s University, School of Accounting and Finance, Faculty of Business and Law, Malaysia. She holds a PhD in Business Management (Finance) from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) and has extensive academic and industry experience spanning finance, banking, oil and gas, shipping, and higher education. She has served as a programme leader and postgraduate lecturer and is actively involved in research, supervision, training, and academic development. Her areas of expertise include financial planning, financial management, investment, estate and retirement planning, and research methodology. She is a certified HRD Corp trainer, Securities Commission Malaysia and Bank Negara Malaysia-approved Financial Advisor, Licensed Financial Planner (CFP), and Registered Financial Planner (RFP). Dr Chong has published in indexed academic journals, led research projects and grants, and supervised undergraduate, Master’s, DBA, and PhD students. Her areas of specialisation include financial planning, financial management, estate planning, investment planning and retirement planning, as well as research methodology She is also actively engaged in international academic collaborations, professional judging, conferences, and community impact initiatives.
