Dr. Chan Yuen Fook
Currently, Prof. Dr. Chan Yuen Fook serves as a professor at the Faculty of Behavioral Sciences, Education and Languages at HELP University. Formerly, Professor Dr. Chan was a senior professor at the Faculty of Education, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia for 19 years. To date, Dr. Chan has completed more than 30 research projects funded by various agencies such as IPPTN, Ministry of Higher Education (FRGS Research Grants); Malaysian Examinations Syndicate, Ministry of Education; Anti-Drugs Agency, Ministry of Home Affairs; Research Management Institute, Universiti Teknologi MARA, and MACEE (International Grant). He has published numerous papers in various citation indexed journals. He has also won more than 30 awards in various invention, innovation, and design competitions at national and international levels. Besides that, he was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Indiana University from 2010 to 2011. He has also won the Asian Scholar Award from Ford Foundation and Best Researcher Award (Social Sciences) from Universiti Teknologi MARA in 2008. His academic qualification included PhD (Educational Administration), Universiti Putra Malaysia (2004), Master of Management, International Islamic University Malaysia (1998), M. Ed (Computers in Education), Universiti Malaya (1997), B. A. Hons. (History), Universiti Malaya (1992), Post Graduate Cert. (Human Services Research), RMIT, Australia (2002), and Cert. in Teacher Education, Raja Melewar Teacher Training College, Seremban, Malaysia (1986).
