Dr. Calvin Cheong Wing Hoh

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Calvin Cheong Wing Hoh to the institution. Dr. Calvin holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Business and Economics (Corporate Finance) from Monash University, along with undergraduate qualifications in Business, Commerce, Accounting, Banking, and Finance. He also holds professional certifications in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education and Crowdfunding from Wharton Business School. With a strong academic foundation complemented by extensive industry experience, Dr. Calvin brings a balanced perspective that bridges rigorous scholarship with real-world application. Dr. Calvin has held senior academic leadership roles across leading universities, most recently serving as Vice Dean and Deputy Dean (Education) at Sunway Business School, where he led large academic and professional teams and oversaw operations for a substantial student body. His career highlights include driving operational and pedagogical reforms, strengthening postgraduate education, and fostering meaningful industry engagement. An active researcher and Associate Editor with Emerald Publishing, Dr. Calvin is widely published in top-tier journals and has secured significant international research funding.
