Akhmal Ayob

Akhmal is currently the Head of Department for Centre for General Studies & MPU of HELP University. For over 20 years, Akhmal has been dedicated his life-career in the education industry. At HELP University, under his leadership, the Centre for General Studies & MPU is responsible to the offering of compulsory courses known as Matapelajaran Umum (MPU) and also the Help Graduate Attributes Courses (HGA), these courses are essential to ensure that HELP students getting the well-rounded education they need.

But his influence doesn’t stop at the classroom door. Akhmal  is also a certified HRDF Trainer, which means he’s got the skills to help people grow not just academically, but professionally too. Whether it’s Ethics, Civilization Studies, Philosophy, or Event Management, he’s got you covered. He is also a qualified professional emcee, working in many local and international events, and to add to that he is also a trainer in Social Etiquette & Fine dining Etiquette that have trained thousands of young people to prepare them to the professional world.

And when he’s not busy shaping young minds, you’ll find Akhmal out in the community, lending a hand wherever he’s needed. From volunteering with NGOs like Food4u and TASK to serving as a trustee for PT Foundation, he is currently active in serving community in Chow Kit, marginalized communities in Kuala Lumpur, he’s all about making a difference, one small act of kindness at a time.

Approachable, knowledgeable, and always ready to lend a helping hand, Akhmal  is more than just a lecturer – he’s a friend and mentor who’s dedicated to helping others succeed, both inside and outside the classroom. Graduated from Universiti of Malaya in 2003 with First Class Honours in Bachelor of Shariah (Politics & Government) and obtained his Master of Letters (M.Litt), from University of Aberdeen, United Kingdom in 2005.
