Dr. Goh Lay Huah

Currently, Prof. Dr. Goh Lay Huah serves as a professor at the Faculty of Behavioral Sciences, Education and Languages at HELP University. Prior to that, Professor Dr. Goh headed the Education within the Faculty. In 2022 Prof. Dr Goh served overseas as a senior lecturer in the Xian-Jiaotong Liverpool University in Suzhou, China. Prof Dr. Goh has solid academic and professional credentials including a Doctor of Management (a postgraduate qualification in Educational Change Management and ICT Integration), a Master of Education with a focus on Management and Language Teaching and a TESOL certificate, and a Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) professional IT certification. She has 30 years experience as a teacher, trainer, coach and mentor. She has demonstrated high-level skills in instructional leadership, teacher education and higher education research. Dr Goh’s academic achievements in educational research, promotion and leadership of educational research and research consultancy skills are distinguished. She is passionate about action research in education and believes that improvement and reflection allow individuals to grow professionally. Since 2013, her numerous research reports have been published in various indexed journals. To date, Prof Dr Goh has published over 50 research papers, articles and book chapters, a number of which in top tier indexed journals. Prof Dr Goh believes in sharing her research experience at international conferences while learning from like-minded researchers. Her current research focus on technology integration in teaching, English language teaching, and educational management and leadership. Dr. Goh has successfully supervised PhD students in TESL and Educational Administration.
