Dr. Soon Seng Thah

Dr. Soon Seng Thah holds the position of Associate Professor at the Department of Education, Faculty of Behavioural Sciences, Education & Languages, HELP University. His expertise is in the field of research methodology, quantitative data analysis, management, and instructional technology. He is the President of the Advanced Analytics and SPSS Users’ Association and has served many years as researcher, instructional technologist, trainer, director, manager, and consultant at the Ministry of Education, universities, international organizations and companies. He has published chapters of books, Scorpus-indexed journal articles and successfully supervised many candidates in PhD, Ed.D & DBA. 

Dr. Soon obtained his B.A. (Hons) and Dip. Ed. from University of  Malaya (UM), M. Ed. (Educational Administration) from the University of the Philippines, and Ph.D in Instructional Technology from University of Science Malaysia (USM). In addition, he holds an executive training certificate in research from Stanford University, Palo Alto, USA, advanced leadership training certificate from Massey University, Palmerston North, New Zealand, cost-analysis training certificate from Birmingham University, UK, advanced Geographic Information System training from Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand, e-learning training certificate from the Institute of APEC Cyber Education, Korea and certificate in Educational Planning and Management from SEAMEO–INNOTECH, Manila, Philippines.
