Selina Richards has had a career in education spanning a period of 34 years, of which 30 of those years have been at HELP. She began her career at HELP as a lecturer of English at the pre-university department. She then embarked on a second undergraduate degree in Psychology before going on to pursue a Masters in Counseling. She now teaches both English and Psychology primarily at the HELP Matriculation Centre (HMC). Selina was previously the chairperson the Department Academic Board and now holds the chair position of the Academic Integrity Board at HMC.
