Job Description:
a. Job Description – Business Development
i. Strategic planning: Developing and implementing growth strategies to help the company meet its objectives
ii. Client relationships: Fostering and managing relationships with important customers and stakeholders from B2B and School Marketing
iii. Identifying opportunities: Finding new business opportunities and trends via business prospecting
iv. Alignment: Work with on campus course counselling team to ensuring that internal and external efforts are aligned with the company’s goals
v. Relationship building: Work closely with schools and agents to drive leads and recruitment number to meet the desired target number
b. Job Description – Schools and Partners Event Management
i. Financial Oversight: Draft, manage, and reconcile event budgets, tracking expenditures to ensure profitability and ROI.
ii. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise event coordinators and support staff.
iii. Vendor & Venue Sourcing: Negotiate contracts with venues, caterers, AV production teams, and entertainment, securing the best value for money.
iv. Risk Management: Identify potential logistical, environmental, or security risks and develop contingency and emergency action plans.
v. Stakeholder Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, sponsors, and internal executives
c. General
i. Collaboration: Working closely with marketing, academic department, and on campus teams to ensure the sales target is achieved.
ii. Reporting: Providing sales/leads forecasts and regular reports to senior management
iii. Data analytics: Using data analytics to identify business trends and opportunities
iv. Presentations: Overseeing the development of business proposals and presentations and engagement with client for business proposal and presentation
v. Communication: Presenting business development plans and progress to senior management and key stakeholders

Requirements:
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND JOB COMPETENCIES
Minimum Academic Qualification
- Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline.
Experience
- Candidates with 10 -15 years of working experience in student recruitment, preferably in the education industry.
- Proven experience in planning and coordinating events, business analytics and strategic planning.
Core Competencies
Good command of spoken and written English, Bahasa Melayu and Mandarin. Proficiency in other dialects will be an added advantage.
Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and able to work under pressure.
Proficiency with Microsoft or related software.
