MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To lecture/teach the course(s) assigned and cover the syllabi outlined for the assigned course(s) in a logical and readily understood sequence, and in accordance with students’ assignment requirements. Subjects include research methodology and business management related courses. Delivery mode through face-to-face, blended, hybrid, and online learning.
- Supervise postgraduate students undertaking research projects, including Master’s project papers, capstone projects, MPhil research, DBA dissertations, and PhD theses (where applicable).
- To undertake the role of Programme Leader and provide academic leadership.
- To conduct research in areas as per discussion with Head of Department and publish papers and present papers at conferences
- To counsel students on appropriate career/academic direction on completion of their course.
- To counsel at exhibition fairs which HELP participates.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND JOB COMPETENCIES
1. Minimum Academic Qualifications
- Doctoral qualification (PhD, DBA, or equivalent) in Business Administration, Management, Strategic Management or business management-related discipline.
2. Experience
- Proven teaching at postgraduate level and executive education programmes, particularly working adult learners.
- Track record of supervision of postgraduate students to completion.
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience in programme management, curriculum development, academic quality assurance, and accreditation processes is highly desirable.
- Experience in Online Distance Learning (ODL), including LMS platforms, online teaching, blended learning, online assessments, and student engagement, is preferred.
- Familiarity with MQA requirements, COPPA:ODL standards, and higher education quality assurance practices are an added advantage.
