Kelly Phang
Kelly Phang is a certified and registered Clinical Psychologist in Malaysia. She obtained her BSc (Hons) Psychology at Sunway University and Lancaster University, followed by her Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Cyberjaya (UoC). Presently, she is pursuing her PhD (Clinical Psychology) at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).
Exposed to a wide range of psychological assessments and interventions, Kelly helps and supports individuals from different walks of life. She is also clinically trained in dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and mental health first aid (MHFA), with a special interest in depression, anxiety, suicidal behaviours, HIV, and LGBTQIA+ communities.
To ensure a holistic approach to mental health, Kelly practises an integrated approach encompassing clinical work, education, research, and volunteering. As an educator, she is actively involved in teaching and supervising students, aiming to foster reflective, compassionate, and competent future generations.
