HELP University recently welcomed over 1,500 students from 35 schools across the Klang Valley to its vibrant and engaging Youth Carnival, held at the Subang Bestari Campus. This event, designed to provide prospective students with a comprehensive look at the diverse faculties and services offered by the university, was a resounding success, combining educational insights with fun and interactive experiences.

The Youth Carnival aimed to immerse students in the dynamic environment of HELP University through a series of engaging and interactive puzzle games. This innovative approach allowed participants to explore different academic disciplines in a hands-on and enjoyable manner.

One of the highlights of the carnival was the Psychology Escape Room. This activity challenged students to use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate through a series of puzzles related to psychological concepts. It provided a unique and exciting way to introduce students to the field of psychology and demonstrate the practical applications of psychological theories and methods.

The Innovative IT challenges were another major attraction, offering students the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge technology and computer science concepts. These challenges showcased the university’s commitment to fostering creativity and innovation within the IT field, encouraging students to think outside the box and develop solutions to complex problems.

Planetary Health projects were also featured prominently, emphasising HELP University’s dedication to environmental sustainability and public health. These projects allowed students to explore topics such as climate change, sustainable living, and global health issues, highlighting the importance of interdisciplinary approaches to solving real-world problems.

Additionally, the Justice: Liable/Not Liable game offered a fascinating glimpse into the world of law and legal studies. Participants took on the roles of lawyers and judges, debating and deciding on various legal scenarios. This activity provided a practical understanding of legal principles and processes, showcasing the university’s robust law programme and its emphasis on critical thinking and ethical reasoning.

Beyond the academic activities, the Youth Carnival also highlighted the wide range of extracurricular opportunities available at HELP University. Students had the chance to learn about various student-focused clubs and support services, including academic advising, career counseling, and mental health resources. These services are designed to support students’ overall well-being and success throughout their university journey.

The carnival created a lively and interactive atmosphere, where prospective students could interact with current HELP University students, faculty members, and staff. This engagement provided valuable insights into campus life and the supportive community that HELP University fosters. It also allowed prospective students to ask questions, seek advice, and gather information to make informed decisions about their future education.
