How to Write News

One of the many exciting aspects of becoming a news reporter is to find an “important” story idea and pitch it to his/her editor. However, not all their ideas are accepted as the line between what’s important and not important really boils down to this: is it newsworthy?

This workshop will enlighten you in understanding what stories are considered to be newsworthy. Apart from that, our instructors will also teach you the methods of highlighting different “news values” that could (hopefully) get your stories published in the media.

So, what are you waiting for? Join us to understand how an “important” issue suddenly becomes “newsworthy”!
